Simple Home Interiors: Crazy About Copper

For the past couple of years, I’ve been gathering copper everything for my kitchen. I love how its classic, rustic sheen brings something unique to the vibe of the room and compliments the stainless steel fixtures that I have throughout. It’s hands down my favorite metal color for kitchen decor! I mean, if it was good enough for The Golden Girls, it’s good enough for me.

I wanted to share some of the pieces I currently have in my kitchen, and at the end of this post, you’ll find links to look-a-likes if you’re interested in adding some to your home, too.

These airtight glass jars are great for storing anything, but especially things like oats, rice, and nuts. They make useful, but decorative, pieces!

Though a little pricey, I love these hammered copper heavy-duty nesting bowls! They’re made in India, and they have stainless steel on the inside.

Probably my first copper purchase! These salt and pepper shakers were just too cute to pass up. (The exact ones I have are linked below!)

Candles. I have sooo many candles and several have copper lids, but this one was totally copper-colored, so I thought it was worth sharing. Not to mention, it’s one of my husband’s favorite scents!

I snagged these vintage pineapple copper molds at a thrift store and found the same ones for you, linked below! They’re perfect for southern kitchens and were featured in The Golden Girl’s kitchen as well!

I love how this is just a classic, “school house” looking clock but it has a copper finish instead of black! I found what I think is an even better looking version for you, linked below!

Lastly, this copper wire basket is versatile and can be used in many places in your house, not just the kitchen. We like to keep things like potatoes in ours.
