My life may not be organized…but my seed collection is!

I really really love planting almost all of my garden from seeds. Whether I’m starting them in tiny pots then transplanting them to the ground or direct sowing, growing a vegetable or flower from seed is so rewarding to me.

A preview of what I’m growing! Leave me a comment if you’re interested in everything I’ll be growing this season.

I don’t have a large garden, but I do have a lot of seeds. Some were purchased and some were harvested and saved. They were scattered everywhere and in different types of containers, making it difficult to see what all I had.

But not anymore.

This is the coolest seed organizer I’ve found. It is actually a large photo organizer box, with little boxes inside that hold 4 x 6 photos. The seed packets fit perfectly in these!

I found this one on sale at Michael’s for only $14.99, but you can also buy them on Amazon here.

I labeled each box using a Cricut machine, making it easy to find what type of seed I’m looking for. You could also just use some tape and a permanent marker to label each box.

But now when it’s time to plant, I will no no issues finding what I want to plant. Also, when I think I need more of a certain type of seed, I’ll be able to see that I already have it…and won’t buy it…maybe. 😉
