Hey, friends! Happy new year 2022, although we are already going on three months in now. A fresh start is usually what people look forward to most with a new year arriving, and I am no different. If you haven’t heard, this past October, our family grew again! We welcomed another precious baby girl into our lives and it has been one exciting adventure! God’s blessings have been so evident, even through a big adjustment phase that comes with having two children and going back to work after maternity leave, something I didn’t do for two years after having my first daughter.

I believe I should address the direction my blog is going to take. As I assume you could conclude from the last several posts I published, I previously thought of choosing a niche (financial freedom), but I found a niche that narrow is not something I was willing to sustain at this point in my life. To simply abandon all other topics was not a feasible option for me. The truth is, I have a growing family and many interests and hobbies that I like to write about!

I have been reading blogs for over fifteen years now. All of my favorite ones discusss a variety of topics. I thought I would take the advice of “nicheing down” since that’s what is supposedly needed to be successful at blogging. However, I hope if you did come here via one of those financial advice posts, maybe you can stick around to see what I publish in the coming months.
